    Unpopular opinion: I just really wish a lot of people would just stop spreading the same misconceptions about Autism Speaks over and over again. It’s gotten so tiring that even it’s YouTube channel had to release two videos about it.

    It may not be perfect but there is nothing we can do about it.

    I don't think that making petitions is necessarily a waste of time. It may not make the organization disappear, but spreading aware some of the issues within Autism Speaks can still be helpful. Most autistic people I've seen complaining about Autism Speaks would rather see the organization make better changes instead of erasing it completely too.

    @Light Lucario I’ve heard Autism Speaks has been improving over the years and they are aware of their past mistakes (ex. they actually dropped the term “cure“ in 2016 and being ashamed over their old I Am Autism video from 2009.)

    If that's true, then that's good. I don't think that necessarily fixes all of the problems the autistic community has with Autism Speaks. It is still pretty infamous even now, but slowly improving is better than nothing I suppose.

    Considering how earlier this year the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U eshops shut down (it occurred this late March) and with the XBox 360 stores soon to follow suit by July 2024, me thinks the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita stores could end services by 2025.

    I dunno. I think they're a horrible waste of money, but I feel that way about most aspects of "Geek culture" and I don't think they should be banned anymore than we should ban anime body pillows or day one DLC.

    I thought Paramount Global only owned the Atlas-Oceanic and duArt dubs but not the 4kids and Cinélume dubs of Winx Club? Because the latter two never once aired on Nickelodeon.

    There's going to be a Winx Club event that features restored versions (possibly the Cinelume dub) of season 1 episodes.

    This is like 2011 all over again when Nickelodeon released the four compilation specials.

    It's hard to believe that 15 years ago, Total Drama Island premiered on Teletoon.

    Also, the cast of Revenge of the Island debuted 10 years ago this year.

    I was expecting to end this year, but I guess that might make sense. Otherwise, we’re in a better phase than we are in that horrible 2020.

    Yes but cases are still rising and despite this, California residents might still get boosted and vaccinated this summer and next year, I speculate the mask mandates will end permanently.
