Boomerang (US) News & Discussion II: Rebrand

Ironically, even when they did “try” to fix Boomerang with the rebrand, it more or less failed. Boomerang has more or less always been on autopilot even back when I watched the channel on a regular basis in the early 2010s. It's almost always been the same shows over and over. Not to mention the...

I personally think they're just gonna milk it for all of its worth before sending it too Nicktoons like with FOP…

"Big City Greens" News And Discussion Thread

I believe it's also the second non-preschool Disney Channel DTVA show to go pass 100 episodes after Phineas and Ferb.

Cartoonito - News & Discussion Thread

To be fair, Caillou is still an incredibly popular show with its target demographic and WildBrain still makes content with the show so I could see why Cartoonito acquired it.

The Loud House News and Discussion Thread 2

I also wanted to mention while Loud House does do well with its target demographic, you certainly won't be hearing teens/adults talking about it to the same extent as SpongeBob.

The Loud House News and Discussion Thread 2

I don't see SpongeBob fading away anytime soon, the sponge is an cartoon icon and the franchise alone makes a crap ton of money (and perhaps ViacomCBS' biggest franchise), not to mention it's most of time the most watched show on Paramount Plus. As long as SpongeBob continues making money and...

The Loud House News and Discussion Thread 2

I'm aware of that but let's be honest, by the end of it's run Rugrats had lost it's star power to SpongeBob, heck I don't remember them advertising the final episodes at all. Nick clearly had replaced Rugrats with SpongeBob by then…

    Qubo News and Discussion Thread

Besides, to my knowledge PBS distributes Arthur in the US so they’ll not losing the rights unless something happens with WildBrain (who I think currently owns Arthur).

    Qubo News and Discussion Thread

To be honest, I doubt any of the classic Qubo shows will join Cartoonito. Pearlie, Rescue Heroes and Pecola are fairly obscure shows and just because CN had the rights to the latter two back in the 2000s, doesn't mean they'll reacquire them. That being said, the only two Qubo shows in general I...

Is OG US Boomerang a Lost Cause Now?

I wish Nickelodeon would had done this. It's hard for me to afford all of these streaming services and I generally don't like to pirate stuff unless there's absolutely no other way. Oh darn, I'm sorry to hear. Hopefully Tubi will add closed captioning soon. This is indeed unfair for deaf people.

Is OG US Boomerang a Lost Cause Now?

Not to mention most of the Scooby-Doo, Tom & Jerry and Looney Tunes library is on HBO Max anyway. As for DF, Tubi TV has most of Hasbro's library (MLP: Friendship is Magic is on Netflix).
