  • Has it been historically known that Boomerang hasn't been available on Comcast Xfinity in some regions? I have the service, and I was able to get the channel, maybe it was just in different parts of the country.

I've read that some markets got it, but for the most part it seems Xfinity didn't get it. I used to get it On Demand, but not the actual channel, and it's been years since I've even gotten that.

I've never had Boomerang on Comcast
I wished there was a dislike button on the forums because boy I would abuse the heck out of that. ha ha, but I digress.

I'm pretty sure we did have one similar to other forums, but then we got this reaction system which I vastly prefer. Maybe one day we get an Emoji based reaction thing.
I'm surprised some people don't like Baby Looney Tunes all that much, why is that?

I'm starting to like this show for this 1 very reason: They're finally airing the show in proper 16:9 HD!

(for the past 2 decades, both CN and Boomerang had been airing it in cropped 4:3 and stretched 4:3. Well, not anymore!)

I hope Nickelodeon won't greenlit a baby-fication of SpongeBob SquarePants called SpongeBob SquareDippers, Could you imagine the many Crossovers that SpongeBob SquareDippers would make with Dora The Explorer and other Nick Jr Shows

@Streaker Prower Um, actually, we already got a Spongebob baby-fication, it's called Kamp Koral.

We don't want to talk about it lol :p
Does anyone else have a problem with this site I'm not seeing notifications for certain threads, I usually go to them even though I'm watching them. It's quite annoying.

i don't mind that much since i don't visit this site that often. but at least it's still worth visiting the site than Twitcel Culter. (bad nickname for Twitter i know but still)
I don't know if I'm remembering things wrongly, but I remembered seeing a cartoon that aired on Adult Swim around 2005-ish which aired late at night like around 1 am Eastern/Midnight central. I don't know what it's called, all I can remember was about a little girl in her spaceship with her crew (no, it's not Atomic Betty). Does anyone have any recollection of that?
You know, in the original Space Jam posters, Bugs Bunny wasn't credited as 'Billy West' in posters only in the end credits, and now people are making a fuss over it. While I do think voice actors should get credit for voicing the characters, but you also have to bring into mind the target demographic, which is mostly kids and families. I think they want to create the illusion that Bugs Bunny is a real character.

I don't think many kids would know who 'Jeff Bergman' or 'Billy West' or 'Mel Blanc" or whoever voices Bugs Bunny or the other looney tunes really cares that much, and most people who are complaining in Space Jam: A New Legacy are mostly Teens and Adults.

I think this whole "celebrity VO" thing is a little overrated even if I don't automatically dismiss it, but I do think it kind of devalues actual professional VA's to a certain extent. It's just kind of jarring when you get "Zendaya as Lola" and not for anyone else.
I'm guessing the Cartoon Network preschool show 'Small World' consisted of imported shorts, like an Anthology Series as I can't find a full episode (except some of the shorts featured) of it on YouTube just promos and bumpers.
If I'm not mistaken Random Cartoons never aired on the main Nickelodeon channel it was only on the Nicktoons channel?

well I found this on the wiki page for random cartoons:
Originally slated for a 2006–07 release on Nickelodeon, it was later halted for release in 2008 on the separate Nicktoons Network channel.

Yup, that's true! I used to watch the Nicktoons channel a lot during that time.

IMHO, it would have been worth watching more if it wasn't a Netflix "Original"

I have to agreed with superkeegan9100, it be worth watching more if it wasn't a Netflix original (although I wish sony has a streaming service)
someone fill me in on the context of "Finish Infinity Train" didn't Cartoon Network and HBO Max say that it was supposed to be the final Book or Season?

Owen Dennis planned for the series to be 8 books, but we instead got only 4. He mentioned how the higher ups found the show too dark and that book 5 lacked a "child entry point" (it would've focused on Amelia, unlike the other books having kids, teens, or young adults).

    There's more detail here.

I still hate the fact on the forums when you make a comment on a post and even you click "watch" you sometimes get no notification about it when someone makes a comment.
