One thing that just confuses me to this day was why was Toys R Us selling M-rated games like Call of Duty or Grand Theft Auto when I assume they were a kid friendly store.
I thought at best they just sell just E-E10+ games and some T rated. Have they always been like that? Have they ever sold worse stuff like Manhunt?
Is it me or kids tv animation is right now is in this weird spot thanks to streaming especially with Nick, Disney and CN with more recent shows from are just IP shows yeah granted there’s some new creator driven shows coming from them but still.
You know in this soon to be dark age for mainstream live action films in the us. At least American mainstream animated films still can be experimental and take a risk here and there. Depends on the film though
what happens when executives are risk averse, audiences are stupid and don't care about variety. go support indies and streamers like Netflix and Amazon. We are going to be in a DARK period for mainstream live action films here in the US for a while
One thing I like about Amazon and Netflix original films is that they’re greenlighting or picking up movies that are riskier, niche,or alternative then most major studio films in the last 5 years or so.
Sure they’re not all winners but at least you can tell they give writers and directors more freedom with their projects
IMO: Nintendo Switch is honestly a big step up from what went wrong with the Wii and Wii U. It's not perfect but overall at least games selection wise it's better than the last two consoles.
I will get 10-15 new VHSs from one of my Hungarian Youtube followers tomorrow.
It will contain recordings from both the big three, and cable channels too, and are from 2006 onwards.
Hi, Light Lucario. I hope you had a safe 4th of July. I just want to mention that today is my 50th birthday. I'm very glad to still be alive & well. I hope you'll be able to wish me a Happy Birthday. I would gladly appreciate it.
