  • Just watched Okstate beat Notre Dame with my mates at an anime con in Norman. We got strange looks at the hotel bar and I don't know if it was because of the cosplay or rooting for Okstate.
My alma mater will always break my heart. Just two yards away from the college football playoff.
The Longhorns just provided a great source of comedy. More importantly, my Pokes have a legit shot at the Big XII!

I shudder to think what Vanderbilt will have in store.
Big news for me as Soonercon just recruited me to help with their anime programming and they are in the process of trying to develop educational panels on the anime industry. I'd figure I'd reach out to the anime community hear to see if anybody has any input on good panel ideas for the con.
Why is my state's cons cursed? Twitter is on fire because of Free Fur All and it's embarrassing.

Isn't Twitter always on fire? It's like the sun. A perpetually burning ball of fire.

It's rare that a con in tiny Tulsa gets this much negative attention from people literally a thousand miles away because of all the controversial people involved. I mean when the decently sized (10,000 people) Tokyo in Tulsa moved to an abandoned Hobby Lobby with no air conditioning or electricity in the middle of the summer, only the people in the tri state Oklahomans/Kansans/Missouri area voiced an uproar.
Working on the anime Family Feud panel for Tokyo in Tulsa. Would help if some of my fellow fans could fill out the survey. Thanks. Anime Family Feud

Imagine if Shea Fontana and Matt Hoverman collaborated on a project. Her brand of positivity, inclusivity, and fun cheesiness combined with his emotional moments, mature storytelling, and Broadway like songs (helped by how he's worked as a playwright) would be really awesome to see.
Blockchain is used so frequently that you might as well call it something like "Ether Realm" instead.
Well, now my laptop is functioning back to normal.
Yesterday at my local Meijer store, I saw LEGO sets for The Batman movie. I guess merch is starting to hit the shelves.
"Shani Like A Star" is a very wholesome Polly Pocket episode, whether it's in Shani trying to fit in to impress others but having trouble, Ava trying to muster up the confidence to be with others, and having Polly and Lila act like pseudo parents. Only a show like this can make the phrase "odd ducks" endearing and empowering
