Also in JLU, she mentioned Superman went rogue "a few years back" which supports it more, so I think on screen material supports 3 years by initiation.
So after watching the live action show, I was curious on how old stargirl might be in the DCAU. One ep mentions she has a curfew but her design doesn't make her look different from Supergirl, whose around 20, so what age would be a good guess for how old she is as I am leaning towards 18.
