I take it that's sarcasm?
But seriously, I haven't read the comic or seen the TV version, but from what I gather the anti monitor deletes different universes (each universe being the glorified cameo I guess) but I don't understand why some people think the movie can't be made without Conroy...
Ugh, come on man. Realistic for Lois' character. Not realistic as in everything has to be grounded in the real world (which obviously is impossible since we're dealing with many fantastic elements).
Like I said, I don't mind going along with it, but Lois not realizing Superman and Clark are one...
I think it's a disservice to Lois if she doesn't find out. She's the best reporter in the world but doesn't realize Clark Kent is Superman? Despite that they look the same? And Clark keeps dissapearing? I don't mind going along with it but Lois finding out rather quickly is more realistic
"It was after these two episodes that we decided that any two-parters we did would have to be done at the same studio."
I wonder why they didn't do that with Robin's Reckoning...
I thought the thread was about fan theories...
That's a good one, I like it! I wouldn't say Hill was a minor political figure since he was mayor, but yeah, enough to name the school after him? Not quite.
There's still some movies I haven't seen, like Batman Ninja, all the Lego stuff (except the theatrical Batman one), all the DC Super Girls stuff... but yeah, here's my picks, in no particular order
My 5 favorite movies
Batman Mask of the Phantasm
Batman Beyond Return of the Joker
Batman The...
I agree that giving Perry the same VA as Scarface kinda made him sound too familiar and made him not be his own thing. They got away with it with Andrea and Lois though!
This has been a spectacular series and a wonderful surprise. I do wonder what happened to Jake, since in the present day of this show, Jake is without him.
Seasons 3 and 4 have been very underwhelming for me. First 2 seasons were really good, a great satire of the DC Universe. Characters were spoofs of themselves, which made it all very funny. Starting with season 3, most characters just started being idiots. And that's where the show lost its...
Yeah, but with Gordon not buying it, that should have sent a signal to Harvey. We had seen great moments between them before: "Just give him one for me, will you?" , or in "Vendetta" when Batman helped prove his innocence. It just seems to much of a 180 too suddenly.
He still thinks Batman's a...
The only thing I dislike about Mask of the Phantasm is how Bullock was so cooperative in trying to take down Batman.
He and Batman never liked each other very much, but they were always on the same side, and the fact that he trusted some new shady politician over Gordon, who himself always...
@Ed Nygma Again, I'm not saying that time doesn't go by or that Bruce is constantly 30 from BTAS to JL. Time indeed goes by, but the point is that if you try to make sense of it in a timeline, its never gonna line up perfectly, because it wasn't done with that in mind, like something like YJ...
Sure, you can include that in your head canon, but the point is that the creators just didn't put much thought into it. It is highly unlikely that the creators went "Tim actually goes from being 10 to 18 but since he's a late bloomer, his looks don't really change at all".
It's still a bit of...
@Ed Nygma I don't think anyone is suggesting that time doesn't go by in the DCAU and characters never age, like in The Simpsons. That would be silly, we see Bruce in different stages of his life, Dick as a kid, as Robin in his early adult years, later Nightwing, etc.
The point is that the...
Yeah, many. I did an extensive review that's posted on the WF's site.

There you go!
Me reading Fone Bone's post:
100% completely agree with everything. That YJ comment in the end made me laugh out loud. Young Justice is the kind of show you can obsess about the timeline, because they make it a point in doing so. Do I ignore the time stamps? Yes I do, I only read the...
The news have settled in for me, and I've been able to resume my rewatch of BTAS I was doing. I've watched "Avatar", "House And Garden" and "The Terrible Trio" since. What I noticed is that BTAS is completely immersive. Once the show starts, I forget about everything and I'm completely into the...
Yeah sorry, but it sure raised my eyebrow and wanted to comment about it. It's a good debate.
Tim can't be less than 12 in Sins of the Father, and that's pushing it.
Why does it have to be 5/6 years from TNBA to ROTJ? Isn't that a lot? What supports this?
The fact that WB passed on a JL reunion film when the cast and every fan in the world was claiming for it, is unforgivable.
But I don't entirely disagree that maybe the DCAU was better off left alone after JLU ended.
It might be too much, but I would love for them to revisit Batman Beyond. Now...
That sounds good. Might be a good place to re-introduce Dick Grayson during that timelime, maybe taking over Bruce's "guy in the chair" role.
Don't want to sound insensitive, but I can't control my mind with possible ideas that could be tributes to Kevin AND Batman.
Oh man, what about both Batman's monologues in one single episode on "Mad Love"?
First the chilling laugh and monologue to Harley to convince her to call the Joker.
And then on the train, giving Harley credit for coming closer to killing him than The Joker ever did, and mocking him, ending...
Too many to list or correctly remember. One that springs to mind is, I think in "The Demon's Quest Part 1" in Calcutta, when Batman jumps on one of the goons, who shouts "No!" in fear, and Batman goes "YES!" Batman's line then continues, but those two simple words are badass.
I think Batman had...
I'm feeling so emotional reading all the posts his fellow voice actors are making for him. Adrienne Bourbeau, Mark Hamill, Clancy Brown, Susan Eisenberg, Tim Daly, Michael Rosenbaum, Tara Strong... and thats just from what I've been seeing.
Kevin was beloved by his peers and fans alike. This is...
Word for word exactly my opinion. Down to the Superman cameo getting applause at my showing too! Dr. Fate was great and my favorite part of the movie (though I couldn't help feeling a bit weird about the missing eyes)
This has a PG-13 rating? Huh? I thought it was one of the most family friendly and young age oriented movies in a while. Hence why I was shocked when Lois started cursing in that Luthor scene.
Finally! Been wanting to hear Curry's original recordings since forever! I also wonder what documentary they are talking about? I don't think all these recordings were on Heart of Batman, so no idea what they're talking about.
