My initial thought is that Episode 5 is a transcendent episode of television that people will be talking about for many years to come.
I wish I hadn’t stayed up to watch it so I could see more immediate reactions.
I’m so excited for Season 2. I wasn’t at all familiar with the comic. I watched several videos outlining character stories so I was worried I spoiled the show. Now I find out there are major characters I didn’t even learn about debuting in Season 2.

Sabine, like other characters in Rebels, was kind of a tweener. She was part Mandalorian, part free spirit artist/demolitions expert, all rebel. If I remember correctly, she wore her helmet during her most Mandalorian moments but generally she didn’t wear it. Ezra, Kanan, and Zeb were generally...
Arad said. "Like giving your kids away for adoption, just because you're not sure what to do with them."
What an absurd comparison. It’s more like giving kids back to their birth parents after they’ve gotten back on their feet.

What plot holes? Which aimless monologues?
I think Wright did a good job making the franchise her own. It was smart to save Nakia for later in the film after the Queen’s death.

Wakandans fought a massive battle against alien forces that led to their king and half of remaining Wakandans being blipped away for 5 years soon after they opened up their country to the outside world.
There’s plenty to work with her and it would not have been boring. Then add Namor to the...
I haven’t seen any suggestion Majors won’t play all the Kang variants.
There’s been fancasting of Harper as Reed since Majors was cast. That’s what is driving the suggestions.

Would a big time skip work in the MCU given that they’d trying to do Young Avengers? Or are you saying skip to a new young Black Panther, maybe a secret son of Kilmonger (which would be funny given the whole premise of Michael B. Jordan and Coogler’s Creed franchise)?

The scene back in Oakland brought the film full circle and the Bucky clip was a character update. They were what they were and they worked.

What does play with the demographics mean?
It looks like a magic vs. tech story which is shockingly something that hasn’t fully been done yet.

A few tidbits from the panel going on right now.
—it’s already been greenlit for season 2.
—Laurence Fishburne (producer) voices the Beyonder, and he sings on the show.
—Raphael Saddiq is on the panel and he’s doing the music including the score (I think that had been announced). Litor made the...

He seems to have no concept of fandom. The idea that people were looking forward to this film and are upset they won’t see it is completely foreign to him.

I got the impression Wong didn’t want to make a big deal about the demons so he contacted the powered person who was already in the loop.
The law already determines who is legally allowed to use what skills, abilities, objects or whatever. Jen covered that at the beginning by asking what...
What does “not here” mean?
Which male characters do you think are missing from that one promo shot of returning characters?

What is telling, greenman? There were four Black male leads in Black Panther. One died. One was filming Nope instead. One is Winston Duke as M’baku.
The other is Michael B. Jordan whose Kilmonger character presumably died. They wouldn’t promote him returning either.
We know next to nothing...
When has Marvel announced an actor without announcing their role?
We are going to get plenty of Phase 5 films announcements and their lead actors.

Bone, keep in mind this was the original pilot episode. Last week was originally episode 8. So there’s still time for you to hate it.
I recognized Josh Segara as Lance from the Other Two but I didn’t know he was Adrian Chase in Arrow, easily one of the best characters in the last few seasons...
I’d like to know if Jen blipped but I don’t think it matters to her story. I’m sure there or a whole area of Blip Law as well.

What elephant? Ross wants to take on the Hulk. The Hulk hasn’t been an issue on Earth in years. We don’t really need to know Ross” story.
The Thunderbolts name could just be Contessa naming the team after him.

Yeah. I assume that means a healthy mix of Smart Hulk, Hulk Hulk, She-Hulk, and perhaps Rhodey or Riri in Hulkbuster armor.

We’re coming up on four weeks since the teaser trailer. There’s no new teaser or trailer 13 weeks until the premiere.

I finally watched it tonight because it’s leaving the service. It was fine enough. Not my style but not something I’d refuse to watch.

Such revelations sustained activities on these threads for years after the show was cancelled and between seasons after it was reborn. So yes, people do care even if you and I don’t.

I’ve only had one passable beignet besides Cafe Du Monde. I’m a lifelong southerner. I equate them with New Orleans than any place else.
This season is clearly focusing on Ivy.
Ep 1 - Ivy’s ex-project
Ep 2 - Ivy’s plan
Ep 3 - Ivy’s ex-fiancé
Ep 4 - Ivy’s ex-crush
Ep 5 - Ivy’s ex-best friend...
A younger Xavier and Magneto makes a lot more sense. Then you have two people on opposites sides of an emergent mutant crisis. Given what we know from Ms. Marvel, it’s easy to plop in a guy who discovered his own mutation as a young adult, studied mutations, and has been secretly running a...

I brought this up in the discussion after that episode. I think it’s a thoughtful examination of the horrible repercussions of giving children the power to be adults.
