Following the recent news of CBS simulcasting its NFL telecasts with Nickelodeon (no joke), CBS Sports has teamed up with Nickelodeon to revive Nicktoons' "NickSports" block. Unlike its predecessors, this incarnation of the block will showcase all the sports CBS Sports Network currently has the rights to. The block will also show 12-hour marathons of everyone's favorite Nicktoon, WILD GRINDERS

That’s right, you read the title.

Robério Alves de Oliveira, the man behind the Star’s Chic commercials (examples above), who became a celebrity in the USA because of his appearances on Cursed Commercials, is getting an animated series on Nickelodeon.

The shoe stores, all located in the city of Goiânia, have been known for their bizarre advertisements - first in Brazil, then in the world.

Robério is 60 years old and his stores were founded in 1981. Initially he dedicated them to bags, but a few years later he decided to sell shoes and sandals. He has spent half of his life making commercials for his stores, but now he is lacking creative freedom and resources without the CGI characters that used to dominate his commercials.

The new series will be made in the USA and will feature Robério as the main character. No details about the name of the series have been released so far, but some suggest The Adventures of Robério. The series will air on Nick USA, Latin America and Brazil for now.

Insider info says that they're making four new shows. Once the rights to air Wild Grinders expires, these shows will take over its slots.

Planters and Nickelodeon have teamed up to produce an animated series starring Planters' mascot Baby Nut. No surprise to us, of course, since the Baby Nut marketing campaign has been incredibly successful, so much so that the official Baby Nut Twitter account hasn't posted a single tweet since February.

After many years, Nick decided to give Planet Sheen another chance. They renewed it for 2nd season. Yes Sheen's and his friends adventures will continue this fall. It will premiere in the day season 1 premiere aired.

Bad news, there's no new season of Danny Phantom. Good news , it's being revived in the form of a crossover movie with the 2012 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. It's written by Jim Krieg & Jennifer Muro, and directed by Matt Peters & Monica Ray. Here's a sneak peek.

WAIT!! Y'all are forgetting about Jojo Siwa! Shouldn't she appear in this timeless show? Perhaps she can voice the title character!

Yes, you heard that right. Even before airing, the SpongeBob prequel Kamp Koral is renewed for season 2 before the show even aired. Here's the announcement from Tom Kenny.

As much as I adore Wild Grinders, ya know what I'd love more? A Wild Grinders REBOOT. Yeah, now we're talking...

Hey guys remember Mutt and Jeff? *cricket noises* *person coughs* Well anyway, Nickelodeon announced today that they have bought the rights to the 113-year old property for $10 billion. In addition to the acquisition, a new cartoon series has been greenlit.

In the new show, Mutt and Jeff are hip 10 year old boys who are into the latest memes and love to make fart jokes. They get in trouble with their big and evil school principal who doesn't like fun and wants to make them into boring kids. But they say to him their catchphrase #KidsRuleAdultsDrool!!

Nickelodeon has also announced that the in-house animation studio will be closing its doors as they will be relying on acquisitions from outside studios like Titmouse, Rough Draft Studios and Wild Brain. Shows like Spongebob will move to Rough Draft. While The Loud House will move to Jam Filled Entertainment.
