Could you see a television network buying the rights to use Toonami in the future?

*ponders a Toonami block on FUNimation channel* mmmm nice but no doubt lacking any non-anime which could make it rather stale rather quick
If FUNi could pick up, say, Samurai Jack, Megas, and JLU, combined with One Piece, DBZ, and YYH, we could have an awesome Toonami.

Well yeah but FUNimation channel doesn't play shows that aren't anime cause that's kind of their gig.

The Funimation channel frankly started out very much how Cartoon Network started out. Cartoon Network, at first, had little more then Hannabarbera flicks and they slowly evolved as they realized they needed diversified content.

Funimation may end up doing the same with time.

so, with primal screen going down, I wonder how that affected Cartoon Network since they using that studio to do the bumpers for years now, are they going to start working with the animation studio who did the bumpers for adult swim now

Bought Cat City (1986) on Prime today. Never seen it before, looking forward to watching it!
