Good arc, though frustrating adaptation as always with One Piece.
The villains being exceptionally fun and legit threatening this arc was the main highlight, especially after Fishman Island and how much the New Fishman Pirates floundered as threats beyond their motivations. And it's shocking how much the mob characters like the G-5 Marines and the Brownbeard Pirates contributed to this arc. Still a handful of weak jokes and mishandled characters dragging it below most pre-timeskip arcs - mostly in how badly Tashigi and Monet get treated, plus how unfunny and incorrect the "girls don't like mecha" joke near the end was.

It's weird that despite taking over 3 years to dub Punk Hazard, nobody seemed bothered by how much Vergo's VA was floundering with his lines. It's a good voice, but I wish he'd just taken a few lessons in delivery.
