Why not they remove FOXLife India too?

For Baby TV, they did the same in India with Nat Geo People Asia, few years ago.

For Marvel HQ, it is unsuccessful, so they planned to shutdown there.

Well, the global feed of BabyTV will still broadcast in the US/PR, the UK/Europe and LA/BR but the channel's future is unclear.

This channel is FTA/Clear, and has replaced CNBC-e in 2015. It airs movies, unlike other TLC Channels, which are encrypted.

New program on DMAX Turkey! Storage Wars ( Turkish: Depo Savaşları ) will be on DMAX Turkey every weekday at 19:55 starting from November 1st.

DMAX Turkey also has History Channel programs. Pawn Stars, Ancient Aliens, Storage Wars

Note: DMAX and TLC are broadcast free in Turkey.

As J10 said, DMAX Turkey and TLC Turkey channels show movies. Also, DMAX Turkey is showing in Kickboxing.

- For example, Romeo Must Die was shown last Friday in Popcorn Generation (ie movies are shown) in DMAX Turkey. This Friday, Wo Shi Shei will be shown.

Italy has no TLC, but it has a quite strong "older" brand that works just as the same thing: Real Time (under paywall it was Discovery Real Time), quite well known for its reality shows and the likes.

Rebranding it to TLC wouldn't work.

Discovery has one of the strongest presence of FTA channels here in Italy: Nove, Giallo, Real Time, DMAX, Motor Trend, HGTV, K2, Frisbee.. especially Real Time and DMAX are rather strong brands.

Paywall only has Discovery Channel and Discovery Science.

There was also Fatafeat in 2006-2007, before Discovery acquired the channel few years later. The channel wants to be an Arabic Version of Food Network and other foreign cooking channels by having famous Arabic Chefs on their channel.

At that time, it was FTA, but then Discovery planned to encrypt the channel on beIN on April 1st, 2016, and become a premium channel, as the channel has been removed from Nilesat.

On December 7th, 2015, Discovery has launched Quest Arabiya from Abu Dhabi, in partnership with Image Nation. It was also FTA, but then the channel ceased transmission in 2019.

Hopefully, Discovery would be involved again in FTA market in MENA, just like Germany, Italy, and Turkey, as WarnerMedia is going to be spun-off by AT&T, and the sale will close in mid-2022.

Italy also used to have more paywalled Discovery Channels that closed in the years. Investigation Discovery and Animal Planet, channels that existed in Italy, now live in the form of categories in Discovery+ here.

One of the worse things that happened when Premium Mediaset closed was Sky not salvaging ID and Studio Universal. Okay, the second would have been weird, as it used to be on Sky and closed the first time here.
Animal Planet was like the black sheep of the Discovery channels (pun not intended?)
