Normally I like the DC animated movies, even the ones that people seem to dislike, but I couldn't get into this one. There was something really flat about the way John Stewart was portrayed here, and his becoming Green Lantern felt rushed and didn't seem to phase him that much. The movie started promisingly, with PTSD flashbacks to John's military time, but that's not really followed up on. Also, too many characters that I got lost.

Space looked beautiful, though, with its varied hues.

For those interested, Green Lantern: Beware My Power - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack is now available to stream or purchase from Gardener Recordings.
Would have been slightly more amusing if it were "Stewart Recordings" instead. But cool surprise!

Nowadays, Cartoon Network have done everything they can to bury Powerpuff Girls Z, not referencing it in Crossover Nexus and other Cartoon Network media. Why?!
