Snaps of Disney XD India and Disney Junior India. The last time I saw Disney XD India was in 2012 and this is my first time ever seeing Disney Junior India. I am yet to catch a break on Disney Junior, it is literally jumping from show to show with no bumpers or promos.

One thing Disney Channel Asia is known for is its centricism over Malaysia despite the fact that their central headquarters are in Singapore. Is there any reason behind this unprecedented favoritism towards the region?

Recently I found posts on Google Groups dated from 1997. They said that Disney Channel was unable to launch on Singapore Cable Vision because Singapore was considered to be "too small a market". People believed that Disney Channel was broadcasting "immoral" programming even though it should have been the other way around, given the fact that Singapore is a de facto secular country while Malaysia is predominantly Muslim.

There was a loophole, TCS Channel 5 (Kids Central was still Premiere 12) aired at least one Disney show according to an old website.

At the time, when Disney Channel was on Astro, they even had Malay bumpers, made by a Malay company, and some had Malay aesthetics.

As the years went on, Disney Channel's centricism over Malaysia continued, partly because of the lack of room in Singapore. To prove this, two old Hari Raya bumpers show their centricism over Malaysia.
Now these were all taken by @animegamer during his recent stay in Singapore in late September. This is what DC Asia's Facebook page liked to post years ago:

They might have a Singaporean feed, but even when accessed from Singapore, their Facebook page is still onfected with Malaysian centricism.

Singapore is wealthy, so why not a Singaporean Club Mickey Mouse? Or are the other countries in the region falling to Malaysian standards? Why can't Spider-Man hover over Marina Bay Sands? He can go to Ghana, but not Singapore :p

They should just make the Malaysian feeds separate like the Philippine ones. And for Mickey’s birthday, there will be a special Club Mickey Mouse episode which will also feature the US Musketeers.

Also here are the bugs for Mickey’s birthday

Here's the schedule for this weekend and next week. I added the updated version of this weekend's schedule because of Finding Mickey, a new six-part series which premieres tomorrow at 6pm. Also from Monday, there's a big change on the weekday DJ block that includes the official premiere of Badanamu Cadet on Monday (The first episode was already aired on September 26 as a pilot), the season premiere of GoGo Dino Explorers on Tuesday (originally premiered and currently airing on EBS1), and the disappearance of The 7D.

Including these changes, new episode of Robot Train S2, Badanamu Cadet, Hotel Transylvania: The Series, GoGo Dino Explorers, Katuri, PriPara, Kamisama Minarai: Himitsu no Cocotama, Rilu Rilu Fairilu: Mahou no Kagami, Finding Mickey, and Big Hero 6: The Series will air next week.
