With KCA’s slightly improving from last year, I hope the annual declining ratings ends, especially once companies start looking for alternative ways to measure viewership. (I always thought the Nielsens favor people aged 50 more because they still actively watch tv due to their lack of acknowledgment of streaming)

Nick needs to cut back on SBSP and give the other shows a chance with viewers, no it's not much, but it's a start.

Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards 2022 Becomes Week's Top Telecast With Kids, Posts Year-Over-Year and Double Digit Gains​

Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards 2022on Saturday, April 9, which simulcast across Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., Nicktoons and TeenNick, ranked as the number one telecast of the week across all TV in Live+3 among Kids 2-11 (1.5/246,000) and Kids 6-11 (1.7/188,000) and reached 1.1 million Total Viewers!

The show also posted Year-Over-Year (YoY) double-digit gains in share with Kids 2-11 (+15%) and Kids 6-11 (+16%).

Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards 2022 was an epic night filled with a record-breaking 1,000 slimings on Saturday, April 9, at 7:30 p.m. (ET/PT), live from Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif. Hosted by actress Miranda Cosgrove (iCarly) and NFL superstar Rob Gronkowski, Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards 2022 featured: show-stopping music performances from Grammy® Award-winning musician and multiplatinum recording artist Kid Cudi, and chart-topping, multiple Grammy® Award-nominated rapper Jack Harlow; appearances from today’s top stars; Nick’s signature orange blimp which journeyed into the metaverse with celebrity avatars; and exciting surprises revealing fans’ favorite tv shows, movies, music and more. Thurs crossover premiere didn't do well, the crossover was shorter in length and other factor was the special aired earlier and the special was meant to air in summer or Memorial Day. Also TeenNick counterprogrammed airing Haunted Hathaways.

I was going to wait til Monday to post ratings for Thurs and Fri, bit seeing Thurs night premieres yesterday ratings were lot worse AND TeenNick did NOT counterprogram at all. Although Nick News ratings were poor in ratings.

Danger Force - 0.145 (0.04) (New Series low, surpass prev series low on Jan 13, 2022 that had 0.245)

Side Hustle - 0.152 (0.03) (new series low, surpass prev series low on Oct 16, 2021 that had 0.220)

It's Pony - 0.056 (0.03)

Nick had a decent promo for That New Thursday Nights. Side Hustle promoted had guest appearance from wrestler star, obviously not getting high viewers as expected.
