To be honest, ABC had nothing that interested me, and CBS had Pee-Wee's Playhouse and The Berenstain Bears Show that interested me. NBC had more great material that season than other networks, but while my interest for Smurfs and Punky Brewster were still prevalent, it seemed to be starting to decline by that point, but still watchable nonetheless.

I would be watching:

8:00 am - Kissyfur / The Berenstain Bears Show
8:30 am - Nothing
9:00 am - Smurfs
10:30 am - Punky Brewster (later Alvin and the Chipmunks()
11:00 am - Alvin and the Chipmunks (later nothing)
11:30 am - Nothing (later Punky Brewster)

The local affiliate in Detroit where I got my NBC feed back then, did air Lazer Tag Academy (which I did watch), but the week's scheduled episode would air the following Saturday before Kissyfur. When Lazer Tag was pre-empted by Wimbledon, coverage, a local airing of The Little Rascals (the black-and-white series, not the then-recent cartoon) would air the following week.

So for the fourth straight season NBC won it for me. And there would be more slots in which I would watch nothing. Just goes to show that my interest in Saturday morning fare was in decline by that point.

Including specials and sports pre-emptions in the Eastern time zone, ABC had 9 Saturday morning lineups, that year.

Looking forward to seeing the internet explode a SECOND time today at 5 pm EST (but seriously, I'm hyped for the new Mario Movie trailer!)
For example, Keiji Inafune's Mighty No. 9 had a disastrous launch and Yūji Naka's Balan Wonderworld became a one-time show for Balan and friends. Why the curse?

I just watched "The Placebo Effect" from FX's Archer. [****] me, one of the best episodes ever. I haven't as much laughs watching an animated series for a while now. That Magnum PI parody is hilarious.
