Welcome to my series of analysis of my very fist kids network that i watched- Cartoon Network through years and how much were people interested/ popular in those years. This time I will analyse year 2016.
People started to dislike this time of CN because of overplay of TTG, adding PPG reboot which was disliked, not many original cartoons and schedule was worse than the one from 2015. They introduced CN Dimensional bumpers.
I will now analyse how popular were cartoons that were running at the time and even those that have ended. Also just because some show is higher, it doesn't mean it has more quality than shows that are lower than them. Like for example: would you really consider that Johnny Test has more quality than Chowder.
NOTE: Besides CN originals, I will also include WB originals that CN was their home like Teen Titans, Justice League but not ones like Mucha Lucha and Static Shock because CN isn't their home network. Also I will include acquired shows from other countries that are/were shown on CN USA and other country's CNs like Totally Spies and Total Drama.
Shows in bold means that those shows had new episodes in 2016.
Also I will comment on shows that had new episodes in 2016 and some of their top non running shows that year because I don't want to make it that long of a read. Also I will show links to some of shows comparisions from now instead of screenshots because I don't want to screenshot too much on my Laptop.
1. Steven Universe –Su is now the most popular show online and it dethroned Ben 10 after being number 1 for almost a decade. Congratulations SU!
2. Ben 10- It isn’t number one anymore.
3. Ninjago – It is still huge online for some reason.
4. Adventure Time – AT is still popular. What more can I say?
5. Amazing World of Gumball – Yep, the is still very huge online.
6. Powerpuff Girls – It got a reboot this year.
7. Teen Titans
8. Teen Titans Go -Even if you hate this show, you have to admit that it is a big hit for CN.
9. Regular Show – It is still popular.
10. Star Wars the Clone Wars
11. Nexo Knights – Another Lego show that got randomly huge, but when it ends it’s popularity will go down a LOT.
12. Young Justice – It was announced that it will come back but on streaming service.
13. Totally Spies
14. Clarence – Clarence is indeed a hit for CN.
15. We Bare Bears -It got more popular this year.
16. Ben 10 Omniverse
17. Total Drama
18. Uncle Grandpa – It got cancelled this year, but it is still popular.
19. Courage the Cowardly Dog
20. Dreamworks Dragons
21. Ed, Edd & Eddy

25. Sonic Boom – Despite bad treatment from CN, many people online care about it.
