The Archies: 50th Anniversary Thread

This year will mark the 50th anniversary of the animated adaptation of the Archies. Lou Scheimer and Co. at Filmation would create what was to be the first animated Archie cartoon, with the help of Don Kirshner and his team of songwriters and producers, "The Archie Show" was a ratings hit.

1977: The Bang Shang Lalapalooza Show/Sabrina, Superwitch/The Archie & Sabrina Suprise Package

Today marks the 20th Year Anniversary of (the "formal" premiere of) Codename: Kids Next Door. This show is one of (if not) my favorite Cartoon Network show(s) and I remain hopeful that Tom Warburton's wish for the sequel show to see the light of day become a reality.
