I still have wonder by cramming this with so many villains, are they adapting "The Long Halloween". I only have two request fancasting at this point. Bryan Cranston for Gordon and Johnny Depp for Hatter (yeah I know). Though their ages are subjective.

I also wonder if they're gonna do what Marvel hasn't done yet with X-men; by adapting a story in the style of a trilogy.

I believe Reeves is a fan of Long Halloween but I don't expect it to be a straight adaption aside from similar themes/beats.

Well, that's a given. When we bring up adaptations, we know it isn't going straight paint by numbers. For instance, not sure they touch Joker again, even if he a young guy.

Well, I don't think we're going to get a Holiday murderer or see the origin of Two-Face again, but you never know...

I understand that, but just like Logan both was & wasn't "Old Man Logan" this could be adapting "Long Halloween". To be meta, they may have a completely different take on the modus operandi where it is not Holidays per se. Needless to say, I'm looking forward to this one. Hope they don't mess it up.

At this point, it seems like a classic whodunnit format but with Batman's rogues gallery instead of shifty relatives at the reading of the will.

I really don't know with him for something like that. He would've been announced early on. Based on his role in Avengers: AoU I suspect he will just do a cameo.
