Right behind you.
I call it Imagine-Nation. It's basically a rip-off of The X Bridge's Imagination Archives, but slightly more widened(not just networks, but particular shows). Here's what I have so far for ideas:

What if…
  • ...Nickelodeon SLAM! wasn’t a failure?
  • ...Fox Family hadn’t been sold off?
  • ...Fox Family had been sold to Warner Bros. instead of Disney?
  • ...Jetix became its own channel?
  • ...the Qubo partnership had committed to the network?
  • ...Fox distributed BBC programming on TV as well as on video(pre-2000)?
  • ...The Simpsons had reached cable earlier?
  • ...DNA Productions hadn’t disbanded?
  • ...Jim Henson had lived?
  • ...Warner Bros. had kept Nickelodeon?
  • ...Nickelodeon never went to the “Splat Era”?
  • ...Universal Kids wasn’t a failure?
  • ...the Children's Television Act never went into effect?
  • ...Fox Kids launched with the Fox Network?
  • ...Pokemon went to Fox?
  • ...Sony partnered with Fox Kids instead of Kids’ WB?
  • ...Kids’ WB never launched?
  • ...Nickelodeon gave its shows a chance?
  • ...UPN and The WB never merged?
  • ...Fox had bought TimeWarner?
  • ...Fox had bought Ion?
  • ...Universal had bought Hanna-Barbera?
  • ...Fox Kids Worldwide had become independent?
  • ...DreamWorks had got Captain Underpants in 1997?
  • ...MST3K had went to syndication instead of Comedy Central?
  • ...Nickelodeon passed on Jimmy Neutron?
  • ...Comcast had bought Disney?
  • ...The Jim Henson Company was bought by…
    • ...Disney?
    • ...Viacom?
    • ...Classic Media?
    • ...Sony?
    • ...TimeWarner?
    • ...HiT Entertainment?
    • ...Sesame Workshop?
    • ...Haim Saban?
  • ...Broadway Video produced the 1990s Mr. Men series?

BuildThink(all modern incarnations unless otherwise stated)
  • Universal Kids
  • Qubo
  • Cartoonito USA
  • The Addams Family
  • Mr. Men
  • The Jim Henson Company
  • Fox Kids Revival(pre-2019)
  • Nickelodeon SLAM!
  • Disney XD
  • Fox Family(launch)
  • UPN(launch)
  • She-Hulk Series
  • FoxBox(launch)
  • Live Action Cartoon Network
  • The Simpsons
  • Fraggle Rock Cartoon
  • Wayside Cartoon
  • Underdog Reboot
  • TMNT… Preschool Cartoon?
  • Power Rangers
  • Captain Underpants Cartoon

Of course, I can do this in any order I- or you- want, hence why this isn't numbered. So what do you think? Which What If and which BuildThink do you want the most? Reply to let me know.

Not getting to that
I call it Imagine-Nation. It's basically a rip-off of The X Bridge's Imagination Archives, but slightly more widened(not just networks, but particular shows). Here's what I have so far for ideas:
Ok.
What if…
  • ...Nickelodeon SLAM! wasn’t a failure?
What can I honestly say that wouldn't require me to make a whole thread or even a Google Doc about it?
  • ...Fox Family hadn’t been sold off?
  • ...Fox Family had been sold to Warner Bros. instead of Disney?
Ditto for ^^(what I wrote about SLAM!)
  • ...Jetix became its own channel?
You know, that's actually quite intriguing to see that.
  • ...the Qubo partnership had committed to the network?
I think if the Qubo Consortium actually committed to the brand and Ion didn't just keep it aimed strictly for little preschoolers, then Qubo could have potentially became a legitimate contender to the Big 3, of course assuming that they actually pushed to put the channel in more households and if they marketed it better.

It could have actually became an American equivalent to YTV.
  • ...Fox distributed BBC programming on TV as well as on video(pre-2000)?
You know, that's pretty interesting, if the BBC had been the one to make a relationship with Fox, then Animal Planet would have been a Fox network instead, possibly rendering Nat Geo Wild unnecessary, meaning that either Fox Reality Channel became something else, or just shut down without a replacement.

Oh yeah, and say Fox Family sticks around, then we could see these shows wind up on there:
  • The Sarah Jane Adventures
  • M.I. High
  • Horrible Histories
  • Hank Zipzer
  • Wolfblood
  • The Story of Tracy Beaker
  • Tracy Beaker Returns
  • The Dumping Ground
  • and maybe........ Jekyll and Hyde
What?.....

I had to put in those other 3 shows, they are really that good....
  • ...The Simpsons had reached cable earlier?
It most likely would have went to FX or even Fox Family if it had remained.

Or even on Cartoon Network(assume that they're making their Monday-Thursday primetime lineup family-friendly and for all-ages and that The Simpsons airs at like 8 or 9 PM).
  • ...DNA Productions hadn’t disbanded?
I think that they would have done Planet Sheen.

Didn't the same people that worked at DNA Productions also found O Productions(the company behind Back At The Barnyard)?
  • ...Jim Henson had lived?
Well, I don't have anything to say, but that would be interesting.
  • ...Warner Bros. had kept Nickelodeon?
I don't think they would have brought Turner out...

Their own animation would have proved popular enough for WB to launch their own animation station.
  • ...Nickelodeon never went to the “Splat Era”?
Interesting........
  • ...Universal Kids wasn’t a failure?
First off, maybe launching much earlier?
  • ...the Children's Television Act never went into effect?
Saturday Morning Cartoons would have still died out unless they kept putting real effort into it.

It'd either be Saturday Morning Cartoons or News/Sports/Informercials all morning.
  • ...Fox Kids launched with the Fox Network?
Interesting....
  • ...Pokemon went to Fox?
The block would have still been screwed around because 99% of Fox stations didn't carry it or at least at the right time, so you're basically asking for Pokemon to become less popular unless it suddenly got cable reruns.......

But I think the block would have lived under some massive restructuring in 2001/2002.
  • ...Sony partnered with Fox Kids instead of Kids’ WB?
So.........

In addition to what we got from Fox Kids, we could have had Jackie Chan Adventures, Max Steel, Astro Boy 2K3, and some other shows?

Is it possible that the Animax channel that Sony and Comcast was planning to bring over would actually be brought over, albeit by Fox and Sony?
  • ...Kids’ WB never launched?
Interesting.....
  • ...Nickelodeon gave its shows a chance?
Ha!

That happening???

Funny.

But seriously, if they did, possibly not even beginning this trend in the first place, chances are that Nickelodeon would be a heck a lot better by this point.
  • ...UPN and The WB never merged?
The VERY first thing you need to do is to have UPN pick up American Idol and Malcolm In The Middle, then DO NOT sell UPN's station group to Fox, then have UPN put some effort with their kids block.

Maybe have SLAM! On UPN on Saturday Mornings and Weekday Afternoons while having regular Nickelodeon on UPN on Sunday and Weekday Mornings.

Nick Jr. could just stay on CBS.

And you need to make WB actually care....
  • ...Fox had bought TimeWarner?
I've heard of that.........

I don't like the sound of that, especially when they'd likely still become a part of Disney....
  • ...Fox had bought Ion?
Why would they want Ion for? They'd have to sell off one of the stations in markets where they'd own a Fox, MyNetworkTV, Ion, Independent and in a few cases, even THE CW!!!!!!

But the idea of Qubo being put to good use and possibly even relaunched as a revived Fox Family, put on more stations and even on every cable system and Ion having original programming would be interesting.

Then again, they would have to kill MyNetworkTV.
  • ...Universal had bought Hanna-Barbera?
I think with all of that library, maybe USA Cartoon Express would get spun off into it's own channel with Sci-Fi's action cartoon block airing here instead, or perhaps as a late night block for older audiences with Action Extreme Team being the action block.
  • ...Fox Kids Worldwide had become independent?
.........

You just gave me a great idea!!!!

Thanks for the inspiration.

But for real tho, I NEED to see this....
  • ...DreamWorks had got Captain Underpants in 1997?
  • ...MST3K had went to syndication instead of Comedy Central?
  • ...Nickelodeon passed on Jimmy Neutron?
Interesting....
  • ...Comcast had bought Disney?
I have heard that they wanted to, but Disney said no.
  • ...The Jim Henson Company was bought by…
    • ...Disney?
    • ...Viacom?
    • ...Classic Media?
    • ...Sony?
    • ...TimeWarner?
    • ...HiT Entertainment?
    • ...Sesame Workshop?
    • ...Haim Saban?
  • ...Broadway Video produced the 1990s Mr. Men series?
Well.......

I think The Jim Henson Company should go to whoever wound up buying Fox Family Worldwide.

Of course, I can do this in any order I- or you- want, hence why this isn't numbered. So what do you think? Which What If and which BuildThink do you want the most? Reply to let me know.
Ok. Have you actually thought about actually going on and doing any of these? I would legitimately love to see what you would have planned for these.
