Why do people hate Wonder Park so much?

It doesn't seem like a bad animated movie.
So why the hate?

I don’t get it either. It was nothing to write home about, but I didn’t actively hate it either.

I know! It's such a serviceable film. Once you get past the behind-the-scenes controversy, there's nothing wrong with the film itself.

I've never actually seen it, so I can't judge it one way or the other. The trailers didn't exactly entice me, though.
