But we're back up and running, and I figured as we approach the end of the year, I'd give a "shout out" for forum members who had anniversaries this entire last year! I joined the forum because I was looking for information on the Justice League animated series. I did some searching on Google, found World's Finest, then found Toon Zone. I think the first thing I got involved with was at the time everyone was speculating and trying to figure out who was going to be in Grodd's Secret Society. Back then we had two insiders, DarkLantern (RIP) and nothing, providing us some clues. Good times. I was one of those newbs who took a while to realize b.t. was really THE Bruce Timm. 20 years and change, huh? Geez.

My 20 Year Anniversary is next month. Is it weird that 20 years ago I was not only MUCH less cranky about popular culture, but also MUCH harder to get along with? It doesn't seem like BOTH those things should be true. But they are.

Explanation? I think I took it so easy on pop-culture back then because I was not a good writer at the time. And I think my posts probably hit people wrong for the exact same reason.

Pretty sure I joined because this was a board that, at the time, was heavily into discussing the Silver Age WB shows, and I was just getting back into those since Tiny Toons was airing on Nick at the time. Most of my early posts were heavily concentrated on the WBC forum. In fact, my very first post was on the WBC.

December 30, 2012, I was bored, I still had CN EMEA, and I thought it was better if I talked about my ideas here than in my decrepit blogs.

I've faced a lot of issues, new friends, new enemies, ups and downs and now I'm less active here due to post-hiatus laziness.

I'm currently in a low esteem period, but I am regaining.

I had been coming here before I joined, I read threads and comments and after a long while, I decided, might as well join. I didn't know if I was going to be here long, but I think I'm here almost every day, minus the down time, then I even came back the same date or close when it returned. I'm glad it has been a friendly atmosphere here.

And yes, Linus is my favorite of the Peanuts' characters.
