Chris Ayres (whom you may know as the voice of Frieza in the DBZ dub, as well as many other FUNimation voice acting roles) passed away yesterday.

I remember reading about his health problems and that he was still recovering, but now reading this...it hurts.

I didn't know Mr. Ayres on a personal level like other VA's did but it seems like he was a really kind, generous, and stellar guy who loved and cherished his family and Krystal LaPorte. As a fan I can say I was always immersed in and enjoyed his work both as a VA and as an ADR director.

RIP Mr. Ayres. Thank you for your contributions as a person and in the world of anime. My prayers go out to his family and to Krystal.

This is such sad news. I knew that he was sick, but I was hoping that he was recovering. The tweet from Krystal LaPorte was quite heartfelt. Chris Ayres always sounded like such a kind person whenever people talked about him and he was a talented voice actor and ADR Director. My father has COPD as well, so reading about how much he was struggling to breath was especially painful in that regard too. At least he was surrounded by his family and friends, so hopefully that provided more comfort to everyone.

I hope that Chris Ayres is at peace. My heart goes out to his family and loved ones too.

Aiko's outfit is the biggest reason she's the first character I've gone with for my celebration of Magical Doremi. It's something I would totally wear, and it would be super easy to cosplay.

also, I don't know if can ever look at any of the shows connected to Dan Schneider in a good light ever again. some of the actors are ok with us still enjoying them but I don't know if I can get past it.
as a survivor of childhood trauma, I I wish everyone would leave Amanda Bynes alone. she owes us nothing, and I hope she's doing as well as she can possibly be right now.
I think most people are very upset and lamenting the fact that Nickelodeon (NOT including preschool shows nor nick@nite) aren't having regular new episodes since after Transformers: EarthSpark finished the season.

Let's hope we get new promos during watching Sonic the Hedgehog 2 tomorrow night.
