Uncle Ned sounds familiar...

There hasn't been an Uncle Ned in other incarnations, at least according to wikipedia. The closest name match would be his Uncle Eddie Jones from A Pup Named Scooby Doo.

Two things of note are how this movie would've taken place 2 months after the Halloween from the opening prologue, and that it would've come out on December 22.

It’s a shame his first directorial credit is stuck in purgatory now.

Good to know the crew was made of sterner stuff throughout all this. I’d want to quit on the spot if this happened to me.

I agree. The idea of Scoob could've been so great if it was given to the right hands, but man the execution was awful.
